On this coming Saturday, as a fun-loving group of like-minded people sharing their sewing (patchwork), applique, embroidery, & quilting journey, we gather as part of the Ripley Sewing Learning Centre’s (RSLC) Sewing Club. We meet at 27 Ribbonwood Street at 9am. We start the morning with some news and information which is usually followed by show and tell before we all partake in a scrumptious morning tea. After this, members are welcome to stay for a while and to sit, chat and sew to their heart’s content if they so choose. Sometimes we may have a hands-on demonstration or, like this Saturday, view a YouTube presentation – this one will make you laugh so much…your sides will ache and your heart go pitter patter as you watch a “mere male” learn to sew. Ahh No…the person’s name is not Felix though there is a cat in the clip.
