On our calendar for this Saturday we have listed Studio Day. You may be asking what does this mean…and that’s a good question. Let’s see if we can help answer that simply.
The RSLC Studio Day is for ALL participants in ANY of RSLC’s 2019 Program of activities such as Quilting Plus, Applique Plus, Fab 10, Kidz Korner and Sewing Club. It is a “Sit & Sew” opportunity for which participants can come to our Learning Centre training studio at 27 Ribbonwood Street, Ripley between 9am and 1pm and work on their projects & share with others. Besides the sharing of creative thoughts, ideas and examples participants are always welcome to bring along some home baking for a scrumptious morning tea which is synonymous with RSLC.
We are conscious that sometimes fellow sewers / enthusiasts are unable to participate during the times we have our activities happening. This can be for a myriad of reasons. Some have chosen to participate in projects and physically attend classes when able. That’s how flexible our program is. And that’s okay!!!
So, for those who are participating in our 2019 program of activities the Studio Day gives them ANOTHER opportunity to focus and enjoy their hobby with us. On this Day the participant contribution toward the use of RSLC facilities is pre-paid. It is incorporated into their respective project cost. Pretty good hey!!!
You may be reading this and saying but I would like somewhere to go for myself to simply sit and sew, have great company, all in a supportive and friendly environment. If this is you please read the sequel post going out shortly.
Sew from all the team at RSLC we wish you a Good Afternoon.
